Rain was in the forecast, but a higher authority intervened and sent the rain in all directions of the Jefferson City Country Club—just not over it! Perhaps because the mission of the Vitae Foundation was just too important, dampening the perfect day on the links for Vitae Foundation’s Annual Louis H. Rackers Memorial Pro-Life Golf Classic on Monday, June 22, was not allowed.
Due to initial coronavirus concerns, the shotgun start was abandoned, and all 37 teams had their own tee times, which led to faster play. The picturesque day saw experienced and amateur golfers alike come out to support Vitae’s powerful mission to reach abortion-determined women before they fall into the hands of the abortion industry.
“We sincerely thank all of those who donated to this year’s event in support of reaching more women facing unplanned pregnancies and connecting them to lifesaving Pregnancy Help Centers,” Vitae’s Market Director John Goedde said. “Your efforts will not only help women but encourage a culture of life.” See program for full list of sponsors.
Congratulations to all the golfers for not only their impressive scores, but also for making a difference in the lives of women in crisis. See list of winners and more pics from the tournament here.
If you didn’t get a chance to participate in this year’s tournament and wish to donate, you still have that opportunity! The Vitae Foundation graciously accepts donations at any time as we continually strive to connect more women with life-saving pregnancy centers where they can have the opportunity to choose life.
