A St. Louis native, Doug graduated from Our Lady of Sorrows Grade School in 1973 and St. Louis University High School in 1977.  He earned a BSBA degree in Accounting from Georgetown University in 1980.

Doug has been and continues to be highly dedicated to community organizations and his church.  He is a member of Rotary.  He has also been a member of both the Columbia and Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce for 20 years and served 3 years as a Board member and Treasurer of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce.

A 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Columbia, Mo., Doug serves as a treasurer for the Knights of Columbus Council 1529.

Doug has served 12 plus years on the Parish Council at Our Lady of Lourdes parish in Columbia, where he also serves as a Eucharistic Minister.
