Nick Johnson

Nick Johnson, with 15 years of non-profit fundraising experience, joined the Vitae Foundation as Market Director for the Saint Louis area on March 16, 2020. Prior to joining Vitae, Nick was a District Executive for the Great Rivers Council, BSA, serving the Hannibal area; a Senior District Executive for the Greater Saint Louis Area Council, BSA, serving the Saint Charles area; and on the Development team leading annual campaigns, fundraising special events, and alumni/affinity groups. While on the Development team, he helped raise over $800,000 in 2019 by doubling the proceeds of the annual
Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner Gala.

Community/church involvement: Mass and retreat musician, Knights of Columbus, 3rd Degree, St. Charles Rotary Club member, AFP member, Junior Achievement volunteer, Eagle Dinner…
Launched the “Emerging Leaders Network” to engage young professionals through mentoring, volunteer opportunities, and a Speaker Series with community leaders.

Born in GA, grew up in south FL. Oldest of 3. Parents in Atlanta area. Sister in Charlotte, NC. Brother in Mobile, AL . Resides in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. He and his wife Michelle have three young boys: Paul, Luke, and Ryan. Parishioners at Immaculate Conception – Dardenne (ICD). Paul’s the oldest, and in first grade at ICD this year. They keep busy with parish activities, Cub Scouting, CYC sports, and spending time with family and friends. Graduated from Helias Catholic High School in 1999. Soccer and tennis. Choir and musical cast. Academic team. Bright flight.

Earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia music fraternity. Sang with University Singers and Hitt Street Harmony. He met his wife at the Newman Center at Mizzou. She’s a Cor Jesu alumna, and definitely a loyal Saint Louis girl!

  • Having the leads is very valuable. The Vitae leads are vehicles that women can use to at least get information, and ultimately get an ultrasound and choose life. Women are obviously looking online, and we are getting those leads. It’s one more valuable tool, one more way that we can reach them, and we need all the ways that we can!
